I really like The Clash. I wanted to do an illustration of them performing my favorite Clash song, "Magnificent Seven".
At the time I didn't include the drummer, Topper Headon, because I lacked the art-directional fortitude. I'd include him if I were to do this today. Though, admittedly, I'd probably include him as a silhouette above and behind the group. Baby steps.
